Who wants an excuse to knit? For British Wool Week? For charity? I know, you don’t need an excuse but I thought I’d give you a couple anyway.
Ashley from Make It Glasgow and I would like to invite you to a series of events where you can knit squares for a South African charity called KasCare which will then make the squares into blankets and jumpers for children who have been orphaned by HIV AIDS. You can find out more about their project here: http://www.knit-a-square.com/
We have 4 Knit 2B Square events lined up and you can come to one or all of them. We’ve even had yarn donated so it’s completely free; just bring your needles of choice (we’ll have some extra you can borrow). There will be tea & coffee available to keep you going.
- Saturday 6th October: 1-4pm in Virginia Gallery(*), 45 Virginia Street
- Saturday 13th October: 1-4pm in Virginia Gallery(*), 45 Virginia Street

It would be lovely to see you if you’ve never knitted but would like to give it a go or are maybe a tad rusty. Oh and MEN we know you knit so come along too.
