Installation Day

First I want to thank everyone who did a sun dance for us as the sun FINALLY made an appearance for day two of the installation. Poor Scattercraft and her posse suffered in the rain for their art on Monday. Just looking at the pictures on her blog made me feel for them so you can imagine how happy we all were to see the sun.

While we were working away the amount of people who stopped and chatted was lovely; there felt like a real community spirit which was after all why we were all doing it. Without exception they loved it and even the local police slowed down though they didn’t arrest us 🙂

There are a few people I’d like to thank for all their hard work and time all of which they gave for free:

I’m really tired so I’ll just leave you with a slide show of the day so you can see what it looks like. If you are around Mount Florida (from Bolton Drive to Mount Florida PR School on Cathcart Road) please stop and have a look or even add to it. The installation will be there until 4th August.

PS watch out for us on the STV blog or even Japanese tv which took an interest in us too!
