My last fair of the month on the last day of the month.
I went to the first as a customer Afternoon Twee and loved it. There were so many wonderful people selling both handmade and vintage items in the main hall of The Shed. In fact I could have bought the dress, jewellery, crockery and even the cakes to have my own tea party – paradise for a magpie like me.
The 31st July will be the second Afternoon Twee and it’s going to be a cracker. There are even more stalls for you to buy from, in fact we’ll now be on two floors. Naturally the tearoom will be open and IT’S FREE!
So where is this Shed that I’m talking about? It’s at 26 Langside Avenue, Glasgow, G41 2QS in Shawlands. I know, I’m taking some of you outside of the comfort of the West End and City Centre to south of the river but it’s worth it. You can get any bus from Union Street going to Shawlands.
After you finish there why not go across the road and have a leisurely stroll round Queens Park and visit the Glass House or head into Shawlands and check out it’s boutiques (don’t miss Skirving Street), pubs and variety of restaurants. If you want to know more about what’s going on south of the river check out Southside Happenings BLOG or FACEBOOK.
I’m busy creating some new beautiful goodies for it including hair clips and hand embroidered buttons.
Hope you can pop along & join the fun.
